Called to Soar

Oxen don’t soar thru the heavens, nor make nest on the mountain’s peak.

Eagles don’t plow.

One of life’s greatest frustrations is being an eagle hooked up to a plow. Any resistance to the yoke and the traces mark you as obstinate and lazy.

Some are given to make long, deep, even furrows in the soil. Others must fly high above to oversee, observe, and record the activities of the oxen and their owners.

Eagles don’t plow.
