Immortal Truth

Burn the flag
The red, white, and blue
Despise the symbol
That gives freedom to you.

Clutter the streets
And cause mass unrest
Fill the air with
Your cries of protest.

But inspite of the hatred
And scorn you employ
The “Truth” is not something
That you can destroy.

God begot “Truth” in
His Heaven above
“Truth” begat this land,
I cherish and love.

So rage away, tear the
Flag from the sky!
But the “Truth”, that it
Stands for, just will not die!
