Opportunity

Opportunity knocked at my door. He knocked incessantly. He knocked until His knuckle bled. He beckoned to me as He knocked, “Behold I stand at the door and knock!” But I busied myself with many people, places, and pursuits, and did not let Him in.

Now my heart is laden with remorse and I rue the days that I rejected Him. I almost missed my day of opportunity.
